Hope Solo is Still HOT Photos

Hope Solo is Still HOT  Photos - Hope Solo is the goalkeeper for the women's US soccer team that won the gold medal at the Beijing Olympics.

As well as being a statuesque beauty, Hope Solo also has a very cool name. If you got married to her, you'd have to take her surname. And then call your kid 'Han'.

Hope Solo had 3 shutouts in a row coming into a quarterfinal matcup against Brazil in the World Cup in 2007 when her dim coach, Greg Ryan, made one of the worst coaching decisions in the history of professional sports sparking a raging controversy.

He benched Hope Solo in favor of backup goalie Brianna Scurry, which rattled the entire team during a poorly defended 4-0 loss to Brazil. This was the worst loss for the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team in history.
Hope Solo stewed all game long on the bench and simply said at the end “It was the wrong decision.” That is the understatement of the year. Fire Greg Ryan’s ass now.

The good ending is that Solo was picked for the 2008 Olympic Team while Briana Scurry was dropped. The revenge if complete.

Hope Solo is the hottest goaltender in the world in more ways than one. Her naturally blonde hair and cover girl looks are surpassed only by her play on the soccer field. She is the world’s top goalie and best looking one too.

No, there are no lewd photos of Hope SoloHope Solo has not even posed for Maxim magazine. But she does have a great face and body which we expect to adorn fashion magazines in the future.
Hope Solo was born Hope Amelia Solo on July 30, 1981, and still makes her home in Richland Oregon. She is 5’9″ tall and her measurements are hard-hard-tight.

Hope Solo describes herself as a dork and is wonderfully single although she does not identify her sexual preferences. For hobbies she enjoys beach volleyball and snowboarding.
To complete her biography, Hope Solo graduated from the University of Washington in 2003. She was a member of the Gold Medal winning 2004 Olymic Soccer team as the backup goalie.

PAIGE DUKE Miss Sprint Cup Photos

PAIGE DUKE Miss Sprint Cup Photos - Paige Duke was one of three Miss Sprint Cup models whose job it was to do meet and greets with fans during NASCAR events.Last week we took a look at the 2010 Miss Sprint Cup lineup. This week we're spotlighting one of the new Miss Sprint Cups, southern belle Paige Duke. Paige Duke is a graduate of Clemson University, where she studied animal science.

Paige Duke is a model whose hobbies include horse riding, barrel racing, rodeos and shooting sporting clays. Paige Duke appeared in Brantley Gilbert's music video for "Kick it in the Sticks" and competed in the Miss Hawaiian Tropic International Model Search. According to a modeling Web site, Paige Duke was also a Hooters girl. Paige Duke is originally from Lancaster, S.C. Welcome to the Cup Series, Paige.
In short, it was an easy job with great pay and the opportunity to mingle with stars.

Paige Duke The 24-year-old beauty had a cushiony job that many young women wish for. However, this is another cautionary tale of what young adults should not do. Unbeknownst to her, nak*d photos Paige had taken at 18 for her then boyfriend had been circulating around the Internet. Paige Duke past had caught up with her in a vicious way.

A classmate from the college Paige Duke had attended, Clemson University, called her to tell her that he had received an email with nud* photos of a woman who resembled her. He forwarded the email to her and she just broke down.

Paige stated, "I just burst out into tears. I couldn't believe this was coming back from six years ago. I never intended for anyone to see them but my ex-boyfriend. I was in love with him. I was naïve and young."

Unfortunately, being beautiful, naïve and young is that's all it takes to potentially ruin your future career. Shortly after receiving the damning email, Paige Duke received even worse news. Sprint was on the phone to relieve her of her Miss Sprint Cup duties. The company stated her nak*d photos were contradictory to the "morality clause" in Paige Duke contract.

Speaking with sadness, Paige Duke said, "I understood. I was expecting it to happen. I was fired from a job I love. This job was perfect for me."

Sprint made the following official statement: "We wish Ms. Duke the best of luck in her future endeavors."

Through this tragic event, Paige Duke is trying to hold her head high. It is clear that Paige Duke has learned a valuable lesson the hard way. Now, Paige Duke wants to ensure it won't happen to someone else. It is always the hardest lessons that are most easily remembered.

Speaking about what she may do next, Paige said, "I can teach young girls that they need to learn a lesson from me, and hopefully, I can save some other girls from going through this someday. Anything you think is private probably won't be private one day."

Claudia Schiffer launched her first cashmere collection

Claudia Schiffer launched her first cashmere collection - she wore all the time as a working mom such as cashmere dresses and sweaters.

"I am always very busy, I have a family life... I want to wear the same outfit when I bring my children to school and then go to work with it and in the evening I want to be able to just change accessories," Schiffer told Reuters at the launch of the Claudia Schiffer clothing line in trendy Paris boutique Colette.

"Effortless chic. That is the idea of it," she added.

Schiffer's collection included long tube black and navy blue dresses, grey oversized cardigans and cable-knit sweaters costing from 250 to 500 euros ($360-$725).

Schiffer, who lives in Britain, is married to film producer Matthew Vaughn with whom she has three children.

While creating her brand was a "dream come true," the model acknowledged history was full of celebrities who had gone into fashion. For some, such as former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham, the venture has been a success, while others have proved disastrous such as U.S. actress Lindsay Lohan at Emanuel Ungaro.

"I don't want this to be a celebrity line. It is meant to be a lasting business not a quick celebrity licensing line," Schiffer said.

Schiffer said she was on a steep learning curve and admitted she still had much to learn as a designer.

"I want the product to live without my name so that it does not really need me. As a company, I hope it builds up over time so that one day, hopefully, I can hand it over to my children."

The model created a joint-venture with the German maker of luxury cashmere sweaters Iris von Arnim. She invested her personal funds in the company of which she owns half.

Valentin von Arnim, managing director of Iris von Arnim, said the retail strategy of the Claudia Schiffer brand was to sell to retailers in given cities on an exclusivity basis.

For example, Colette in Paris, Harvey Nichols in Britain and Hong Kong, Boutique 1 in Dubai, Beirut, Qatar and Abu Dhabi, The Corner Berlin in Germany.

Arnim said the sweaters had been bought by about 50 stores worldwide and would also be on sale next week at online retailer net-a-porter, now controlled by luxury group Richemont.

Initially spotted for her resemblance to Brigitte Bardot, Claudia Schiffer began her career in the late 1980s and quickly joined the supermodel elite alongside Linda Evangelista, Elle Macpherson, Christy Turlington and Naomi Campbell.

Having appeared on the cover of more than 500 magazines, she is one of the world's most successful and most enduring of the supermodels with a fortune estimated at more than $50 million.

Having recently featured in Yves Saint Laurent, Salvatore Ferragamo ads, Claudia Schiffer is now in campaigns for L'Oreal make-up and Chanel sunglasses.

Claudia Shiffer said wished to pursue her modeling career for as long as she could: "I will continue modeling until they don't want me anymore basically because I do love it very much."

Casey Anthony Released From Jail on July 17

Casey Anthony Released From Jail on July 17 - Casey Anthony, accused of murdering her 2-year-old daughter using duct tape and chloroform, was convicted and sentenced to four years in prison Thursday for lying to police. The three years that she has already spent behind bars will be counted for time served, as well as good behavior.
Casey Anthony, acquitted of killing her daughter Caylee, will be released from jail on July 17 instead of July 13, according to court officials.

Judge Belvin Perry originally estimated that Anthony could be freed by late July or early August, but her attorney Jose Baez said she would be released July 13, ABC News reported.

But an updated statement from the Orange County Corrections Department projected Anthony's release for July 17.

The jury acquitted Anthony on charges of aggravated manslaughter and aggravated child abuse Tuesday. If convicted of the more serious charges, she would have faced the death penalty.

Casey Anthony, 25, partied after her daughter Caylee died, acquiring a new tattoo with the Italian words for "Beautiful Life" and entering herself into a hot body contest.

Prosecutors alleged that Casey Anthony drugged her daughter with chloroform and suffocated her using duct tape. Duct tape was found on the body, where the little girl's face had been, but decomposition was so advanced that cause of death was difficult to determine. Internet searches were found on Casey Anthony's personal computer for the terms "how to make chloroform," "neck-breaking," and "self-defense."

A vigil for Caylee Marie Anthony was held Friday night. Her 22-year-old mother, Casey Marie Anthony, remains jailed on $500,000 bond on charges of child neglect, failing to immediately report her daughter’s disappearance and lying to police. She plans to go back to court to again ask a judge to lower her bond.

A pond near the home of the tot’s grandparents was searched by Orange County dive teams Friday in what police described as a routine monthly training exercise; three submerged vehicles were found, according to MyFOXOrlando.com. Two of them had been reported stolen to Orlando police.

The retention pond is off Chickasaw Trail, less than a mile from the home of Cindy and George Anthony, where Casey and Caylee had been living until around the time of the child’s disappearance on or around June 16.

Amber Rose Hot Uncensored - Amber Rose had uncensored nud* pics hit the net earlier this week on MediaTakeOut, and her man Wiz Khalifa is sticking by her side. Amber tweeted a bit of happiness during a dark time in her life saying, "No matter what I go thru or how embarrassed I am I have a man that Loves me & has my back thru everything. @RealWizKhalifa thank u. :-)"

Now for the first time since the Amber Rose uncensored nude photos hit the net, showing Amber playing with her privates part, she's speaking out:

I was gonna wait until my radio show to address this but I want to say this now. I trusted someone that worked 4 me & allowed them to use my laptop a million times, I caught this person sending my pics to themselves and I fired this person immediately Wiz & I & both of our families have known about this for 2 months now. We tried to prepare ourselves for this day. Those pictures r 2 1/2 years old just sitting in my computer. I'm really hurt & embarrassed because I have so many young girls that look up to me. I would never put those pics out of myself.

The company that I was working with no longer wants to work with me because of these pics and that prevents me from getting money to take care of my family. Its a messed up situation when someone so evil comes into ur life and tries to destroy it. I know I'm not the only girl in the world that has taken pics like that but they were very private. I'm sorry for letting my young Rosebuds down. Pls understand this was a result of trusting a person that didn't deserve my trust. I have cried for the past 2 days but I know this to shall pass. Thank u for all of ur support.

M.F. Husain Died in London

M.F. Husain Died in London - President Prathiba Patil's office in New Delhi said that M.F. Husain, often called "The Picasso of India", passed away in hospital in the British capital during the early hours of the morning.

India's most famous and controversial modern artist, M.F. Husain, who fled the country in 2006 after death threats from Hindu extremists, died in London on Thursday at the age of 95.

Indian media cited family members saying that he had suffered a heart attack and lung failure after being in "indifferent health" for several weeks.

The Muslim painter's death brought to an end to a turbulent chapter in modern India that showed how religious sentiments could still be easily aroused -- often for political ends -- and the limits of artistic self-expression.

In life, Hindu ultra-conservatives including the regional Shiv Sena party in Husain's home state of Maharashtra denounced his works as pornographic, blasphemous and an affront to national values.
Controversy failed to dampen the enthusiasm of overseas collectors: in 2008, one of his paintings, influenced by Hindu epic The Mahabharata, fetched $1.6 million at Christie's in London.

But even in death he deeply divided Indian opinion, with the public split between those who saw him as a great artist and others who attacked him for depicting naked Hindu gods.
Among the more generous tributes was that of President Patil, who said Husain's death would leave "a deep void in the world of art and creativity".

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that in M.F. Husain death, "the nation has lost an iconic artist and the art world one of its most colourful personalities, whose genius left a deep imprint on Indian art".
Shiv Sena leader Bal Thackeray, who was at the forefront of the campaign against Husain, was conciliatory, saying that the artist was "a national asset and his contribution to the field of Indian art can never be overlooked".

"Whatever controversies happened should be laid to rest with his passing and if his family wishes to bring back the mortal remains home, it should be allowed," he added.
But Thackeray maintained that M.F. Husain had "slipped" by his depictions of revered Hindu goddesses in the nude, which angered violent Hindu fanatics and led to his self-imposed exile due to death threats and endless legal battles.

M.F. Husain supporters were angry that he had to die abroad and criticised the government for its belated praise.
"India didn't have the privilege of seeing him in his last moments, that is a huge loss for this country," Jitish Kallat, one of India's leading young artists, told the television news channel NDTV.
"I think it is a black mark on the Indian state which has not understood the immensity and the relevance of Husain."

Mumbai socialite and novelist Shobhaa De added: "Anything it (the government) chooses to do now in retrospect is really an insult to his memory.
"Why couldn't he be allowed to come back to his own country as a proud Indian?"
Maqbool Fida Husain, a former Bollywood poster artist whose career took off after Indian independence in 1947, had been in London where three of his paintings were sold by the auction house Bonhams as recently as last week.

He left India in 2006 after Hindu hardliners accused him of insulting their faith, leading to attacks on his home and galleries showing his work, death threats and even a $11.5 million bounty on his head.
He said in 2008 he was homesick and longed to return to Mumbai, where he trained at the Sir J.J. School of Art, but accused the government of not being prepared to provide him with the protection he needed.
Husain, who often went barefoot and was once thrown out of a Mumbai private members' club for not wearing shoes, accepted Qatari citizenship in 2010, admitting that his advancing years made it impossible to fight his detractors.

Indian ministers recently tried unsuccessfully to tempt him home.
The artist always said that nudity symbolised purity, insisting that naked goddesses were a long-established part of the country's iconography dating back to antiquity.
Many saw him as a victim of the fierce communalism that gripped India in the 1990s and early 2000s and of the socially conservative country's tough censorship laws.

Lady Gaga's Born This Way Rip Off Madonna's Express Yourself

People are already going crazy for Lady Gaga's anthemic new single, 'Born This Way.' But we couldn't help but notice that in just about every article or review of the song (not to mention your comments, beloved PopEater readers), people are calling out its similarity to Madonna's 'Express Yourself,' with some even claiming it's a blatant rip-off.
While we wouldn't go that far -- we love Madonna (you have no idea), but people give her so much credit as a pop innovator you'd think she built the first synthesizer with her bare hands -- it's impossible to not see the thematic and melodic parallels between Her Madgesty's pop classic and Gaga's latest club jam.
If imitation really is the sincerest form of flattery, Madonna should be feeling pretty good this morning. People are loving Gaga's new tune, but the big story that has emerged since its debut this morning is its rather obvious similarity to the Material Girl's 'Express Yourself' (there's also a little 'Deeper and Deeper' in there, too, if you ask us).
Compare these songs

800 evacuated as Iceland volcano erupts

                                                             Source: CNN

Icelandic authorities evacuated about 800 people early Wednesday when a volcano erupted beneath the Eyjafjallajokull glacier, an emergency spokesman said.

The first evacuations began at 2 a.m. (10 p.m. ET Tuesday), according to Rognvaldur Olafsson, chief inspector at Iceland's Department of Civil Protection and Emergency Management. He said everyone in the area was safe.

"We have located the fissure that is erupting under the glacier," Olafsson told CNN. He said scientists are currently doing aerial reconnaissance of the area and that officials would know more when they return.

So far, he said, the eruption has created a large hole in the glacier. Lava is not a big concern but flooding is, he said.

"The volcano is under the glacier and it's melting parts of the glacier," Olafsson said. "The rivers will rise and potentially make some damage."

Rivers closest to the glacier have already started rising, he added.

The glacier is the sixth-biggest in Iceland, just to the west of the bigger glacier, Myrdalsjokull. It is about 100 miles (160 km) east of the capital, Reykjavik.

A map from the Icelandic Meteorological Office showed seismic activity of between 1 and 2 magnitude in the area around the glacier Wednesday morning.
